Pets That Are Troublemakers
These days, many people prefer to bring home unconventional pets ; in contrast to the more traditional dog or cat. However, some of those choices might not be as acceptable for the home environment or the family unit. Therefore to avoid any hassles later ; you’re advised to choose your furry or feathery chum with careful thought. Here’s more.
As cute as they are, primates do not make for the best household pets. Chimpanzees, lemurs and monkeys may look captivating ; but they often have a temper to match too. They can go on a rampage without prior caution or perhaps bite their owners at slightest provocation. Therefore don’t be too shocked if you come back home to find torn cushion covers, etc, one fine day. Also, these pets are known to be carriers of fatal strains of the Hepatitis An or HIV One virus and therefore, pose a risk to your wellbeing too.
Moving on in the wrong pet list we have the massive members of the cat family. These are lions and tigers. To own one might be a thing to feel happy with but these are extremely perilous to keep at home. The declawing also doesn’t lessen the danger and the chance factor involved with them. Also, removing the claws of this mighty being isn’t justified as it may make it tough for them to walk. Removing the nails may paralyze a massive kitty too.
Many folks have an interest in bringing home bears as pets probably due to their likeness to the cuddlesome and lovable teddy bears available at the market. Bear cubs in particular, exude all that’s trusting and warm and are certainly captivating as home companions. But the thing to bear in mind here is that they will not stay tiny for an exceedingly long time. The bear will, in all probabilities- grow as tall as you at it’s full height and actually have enough strength to knock you down with a single blow. And, while you may try and train them to the very best of your capabilities ; you can never be assured of their good behavior. Therefore, if you’re looking for a pet to enjoy the sun and get a tan with ; a bear is definitely not your best choice.
Another ferocious pet might be a Fennec Fox. It could be a good choice for some but some foxes are awfully assertive like the ones from the arctic and the red foxes. They can undoubtedly be tamed, but something that goes against them is they can’t be trusted. And if you have kids at home, you are sure making a howler getting a fox home. As there is not any vaccination for a fox bite, the animal will have to be snuffed out if any bites are reported. Therefore, it’s way better to purchase a dog as a pet than any of the animals mentioned above.
Hence if you’re looking for a pet, refer to the above list to steer clear of animals that may mean more trouble than they’re worth.
