When our patience wear thin, it is easy to start losing sight of the objective of this training. While the main goal is to get them train, you should also know that this is an opportunity for you and your pet to have fun, and bond together. When losers lose sight of this, they will use this opportunity to punish their dog, but let’s not forget that your pet too is eager to get your seal of approval and want your affection.
One thing that is for sure is that when you constantly punish them, you will usually not get the results that you want from them, especially when it comes to obedience training. Giving them a reward can positively reinforce their behavior when they start realizing the positive outcome for them.
When it comes to dog training, do not forget that your dog actually have a very short memory span, as such if you did not catch them committing bad behaviors, then you should not be bothered with punishing them. Your dog also does not speak your language, therefore loud shouting and yelling will never help in terms of correcting their mistakes. The better way to do so is to actually catch their wrong doing and instantly correct their mistakes.
