Many dog owners take it for granted that their dog’s sight is completely ok. But it may well happen that a dog’s ability to see well deteriorates: Something that can dramatically change his life and also the dog owner’s life.

There is no doubt that our dog is a wonderful companion and valued family member. He protects our home and gives us his unconditional love – not expecting anything in exchange.

We have a loving relationship with our dog, play with him, go out for our daily walks and serve his food. About all these things he gets excited and we know that he feels well. Don’t wait before his eye problems get worse and more serious and in the worst case end up in blindness. Having a dog full of energy that is every now and then being clumsy and bumping into things should alert you.

Growing older, the dog maybe starts resisting going down the stairs. These symptoms can be very gradual, taking place slowly over years.
